Last Saturday 4 members of our Club - Maureen, Paul, Lucia and Sue joined with Rotary Chadstone/East Malvern for a volunteering session at RIMERN.It is so worthwhile spending a few hours there just seeing what goes on, finding more about RIMERN and helping prepare items to go out to client's homes.
Think Paul especially learnt a lot about Washing machine repairs!
It is not just Rotarians who volunteer at RIMERN. RIMERN is lucky to have a young man Peter - a refrigeration mechanic - who comes along many Saturday mornings and checks out all the fridges, dryers and washing machines to make sure they work and are safe to go to someone's new home.
